Mystery Writers Academy: Arson Investigation, with Fire Marshal Alan Perry, Caldwell Fire Department

Fire Marshal Alan Perry with the Caldwell Fire Department will speak about arson investigation at the Mystery Writers Academy at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23 via Zoom:

Perry has also worked as a fire investigator with the Idaho State Fire Marshal’s Office. He also worked for the Ventura County Fire Department where worked on fire prevention, code enforcement, community education, engineering, and new construction and also served on the Cal Fire and an Incident Management Teams as logistics chief. 

He was a Taft City Auxiliary Firefighter; worked for the Boeing Co. as a trainer and a Field Lab Fire Prevention Officer; and for the US Forest Service Engine (wildland firefighting) out of Orleans, Calif.

Perry graduated from Oxnard Collage’s Fire Firefighter 1 Academy.
