  • 01/28/2021
  • 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Zoom meeting
Shandee Votaw and Melonie Wilson, Ada County 911 Public Safety Communications Dispatchers,  will speak at the next virtual meeting of the Mystery Writers Academy Jan. 28 starting at 6:30 p.m.

This is an exciting opportunity to hear from front line people.

Shandee Votaw
Growing up a native of Bakersfield Ca, then living almost a dozen years in the Monterey area before moving to Idaho in 2013, Shandee has a wide range of experiences she pulls from that helped prepare her for life in 911. At different times working in insurance compliance, as a teacher, an animal rescue volunteer, and volunteer emergency grief counselor, while contributing many skills that would be necessary to work 911, could not quite prepare her for what 911 would bring. Now, being in the field for just under 5 years, Shandee couldn't imagine doing anything else.
