Mystery Writers Academy: Gunshot Wounds & Stabbings, Dr. Glen Groben, forensic pathologist

Glen Groben is a board-certified Forensic Pathologist, in practice for 22 years (19 in Boise). He graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and did a five-year residency in general pathology before a fellowship year in forensics. He first received a degree in forestry in the 1970's before spending three years in West Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer and then attending med school.

Dr. Groben's presentation will cover:
  • Introduction to forensic pathology and early changes of death
  • Gunshot wounds
  • Blunt force trauma and sharp force injury
  • Interesting cases 


The session will be held in the Bingham Room of the Main Library--there will be plenty of space and all interested persons are invited to attend. Your RSVP is requested so sufficient chairs and tables are set up for the event.
